Forrest Media launch network of full motion DOOH in Northern hotspots

Forrest Media have announced the launch of their Northern FM Network.
The Network spans across 3 vital northern cities; Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester, with a total of over 2 million fortnightly impacts, enabling advertisers to take advantage of full motion digital out-of-home.
The locations of the Network include:

  • Glasgow Western Gateway- 50sq.m giant landscape screen located just before the busiest road junction in the country
  • Edinburgh Eastern Gateway- 50sq.m giant portrait screen situated overlooking the main A199 Eastern Approach to the city centre
  • Manchester Central CityScreen- 63sq.m giant landscape screen overlooking the heart of the city.


Edinburgh One – Ocean’s First Digital Screen in Scotland’s Captial City

On the 30th of November, Ocean is launching its first digital screen in Edinburgh, expanding premium opportunities in DOOH into its 9th UK city.
Edinburgh One is located in one of the most desirable cities for advertisers, on the key arterial route to Edinburgh Airport and at the gateway to Edinburgh City Centre, targeting an exclusive and affluent tech-savvy business audience and leisure travellers.
Designed by the same architects as the distinctive Edinburgh Airport Tower, this double-sided screen exudes an unique design with an integrated dynamic lighting system to amplify brand campaigns.

State of The Art DOOH for Edinburgh's Prince Street

Princes Street in Edinburgh has been transformed by new state of the art digital bus shelter screens, synchronised by line of sight. JCDecaux visited the city to talk to people local to Edinburgh about what they love about the city and what they think of the new bus shelters.
Vital to the thriving heart of Edinburgh, Princes Street attracts shoppers, tourists, commuters and residents. Princes Street is part of an Edinburgh World Heritage Site and boasts panoramic views of the Old Town and Edinburgh Castle. The City of Edinburgh is ranked 6th UK Retail Centre with £1 billion annual retail spend (CACI, 2015).

Forrest Media Extends Scottish Portfolio

Forrest Media is gearing up for an exciting 2015 and will shortly unveil another two giant sites to add to their digital portfolio.
Planned for early 2015, both the ‘CityScreen Glasgow Southern Gateway’ and the ‘CityScreen Edinburgh Eastern Gateway’ will stand at 50 sqm and will dominate vital routes into both major cities.
The new additions are set to increase Forrest’s portfolio to a total of eight digital screens throughout Scotland and the north of England.
The ‘CityScreen Glasgow Southern Gateway’ will be Forrest’s third digital outlet in Scotland’s largest city, whilst the Edinburgh site is the group’s third OOH offering in the nation’s capital.

JCDecaux Signs Contract to be the Media Partner for Edinburgh

JCDecaux has signed the contract to be the media partner for the city of Edinburgh. The 10-year contract (with an option to extend for five years) was awarded by the City of Edinburgh Council, following a competitive tender.
The contract covers the design, installation and maintenance of 436 advertising bus shelters and management of all non-advertising bus shelters in the city. This will include the first network of digital screens in the city centre. JCDecaux will also provide interactive “LiveTouch” screens in the main hub of Princes Street providing tourist, local and council information.
JCDecaux will also provide 60 large-format billboards including the first large-format digital screen and consult with the city for the provision of wayfinding signage and a city-wide bicycle-hire scheme.
