Posterscope USA and Dentsu X work together to launch Invest Victoria campaign.
The aim of the campaign (which was 2 years in the planning) was to reach tech talent in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area and entice them to open up offices in Melbourne thereby helping to grow the tech community in the city. There was omni-channel support for the campaign and the OOH element has already gained some notoriety as local news channels in both Melbourne and San Francisco have covered the campaign:
The campaign launched on the 27th of August. Posterscope’s Liveposter platform was used to display live, the time & date in Melbourne, letting techies in San Francisco know that Melbourne is already a day ahead and their business could already be operating “around the clock”.
Alongside the DOOH, the OOH activity also included branded coffee cup sleeves distributed in café’s around San Francisco as a nod to Melbourne’s coffee culture.
